IIRC it was classified as a proper car, although the engine was pretty small. A friend of my parents had one.

What? No love for Iain M Banks’ Consider Phlebas? (when is Amazon releasing that?)
If you want the bars and footpegs from the /F then I’d bet that they’re a straight swap. If Zero have any sense whatsoever, then it’ll be a modular platfom (like BMW R series bikes have been designed since the mid 90s - ie the 1100/1150, and the 1200 series bikes. Most parts from an 1150 will fit most other 1150s.)…
You’re going to be a LOT drier on the SV650 than on any custom like the one in the OP! Look at how far the bodywork extends over the rear wheel, and how wide it is. that IS the mudguard.
I’d be interested to know what your bike is - any photos?
Having recently spent a year living in such a thing (factory built rather than home-brew), I’d say that the only thing missing is sanitorial convenciences, and for that price, (£15,000) I’d expect them in a vehicle that’s 12 years old.
Micro-cars like this are only of interest to people who already have a larger car, and no social life. So that’s (generally) affluent families with kids who already have multiple vehicles.
You’d be amazed how wet you DON’T get because you have mudguards.
It’s nice, but it’s (like ALL customs) pretty impractical.
Ah - THAT autoplay - yes ok - I do find that annoying, especially when you get the notifications for netflix and happen to open the app at work....
Errm - this has been in Netflix for years. I’ve had a subscription for several years and have had the auto-play turned off almost ever since they introduced it.
Fantastic - thanks!
Dang - I wish I could find that film on a streaming service!
I hate to sound like some sort of liberal, but this is what happens when a society bases itself on financial profit above all else, even to the extent that public service organisations such as the government itself must tender for the lowest bidder (or highest profit maker) at the expense of the people.
Funnily enough - the advert is actually in Dutch.
Can I be the next person to say simply: “Derrr, obvs!”
Yup. I do this, but mainly because I take the ‘good’ photos on a Nikon D50 DSLR which means I HAVE to copy the photos to a PC before I can upload them anywhere. (I use Flickr and go through the 100s of photos I have taken on the PC, picking out the ones that have worked and uploading them into an album on Flickr).

When are companies going to start doing what’s best for their customers?
I’ve seen archive footage of a Mini design documentary that showed them being designed for standard sized, Milk Marketing Board specification glass milk bottles.
Pardon me for being sensible - but until EV ranges and charging-times are up to the level of petrol powered vehicles, their PRIME use is daily commuting and short-haul delivery - IE where they are very, very close to power sources (charging stations/home plugs) whenever they are stationary.
