I think a lot of it also depends on your subject. Film is just not practical for all applications.

I find it highly unlikely that it’s not mountable. That’s pretty much a given in TVs these days.
The concave curve of a TV screen actually reduces the size of reflections and also gives less of an angle of attack for glare to even be a problem (the light source would have to be pretty much directly behind you).
I think your method has merit, but I personally learn better by having the freedom with digital to shoot a LOT. I then have more photos to study to see what works, what doesn’t, and how I can improve. I also have more leeway in grabbing unexpected and candid photos. Film is great, but I could never go back to it…
If the thinness helps achieve that insanely low weight, then I’m all for thinner. I’m sure that removing the electronic guts helped quite a lot there, but I would think that reducing the cabinet size also contributes. Frick, you can pick that TV up with one hand. Amazing.
ABS is not so much for stopping distance as it is for maintaining vehicle control. In fact, in certain situations, ABS can increase stopping distance.
They did use lookalikes for both characters and then CG’d on top of them.
Wow, yeah! Crazy coincidence! I love when that sort of thing happens.

I can see how someone might not get into it, but for me, growing up in the Midwest, it really hit close to home (pardon the pun). Being able to reminisce about the brutal winters and reading the names of familiar places give the book a special place in my collection.

I don’t understand this logic. I prefer the 10000 batteries for better portability, but now that I have a USB-C phone, it charges slow as balls. It doesn’t matter what capacity the battery is; when I’m on travel, I can’t afford to wait an hour to get maybe a 10% charge. Not to mention that a USB-C input would mean…

The Human Fund.
Whatever makes you feel better about yourself.
Oh look, meaningless gibberish. Good luck with that.
I’m surprised (and pleased) to see Silent Hill 2 made your list. It’s still my all-time favorite game.
I didn’t mean that it’s unfunny because it’s simple. I meant that it’s just unfunny, and there’s no other aspect of the joke that redeems it. Don’t be a twat.
Because it’s not a funny joke; it’s a rather bland rehash of the original. If that’s his favorite cut joke, then surely there’s something more to it? But it seems not.
It doesn’t make sense in that it really doesn’t relate at all to the original joke. Also, if it’s that simple, then it’s terribly unfunny.
What’s wrong with the ending, exactly?
It’s opinionated BS.
Many of them don’t break anything. What are you talking about?
