No kidding! If I use my debit card almost anywhere, the balance change shows up within minutes. But, if I go to the bank (BOA), and make a car loan payment through the teller (with the same debit card), the payment does not show up until after midnight. And, they still do not have chip readers at the teller windows!!!
Our debit/credit cards are actually less secure when tapping than Apple Pay. If I wanted to be able to tap my debit card all I have to do is contact my bank and have them activate it. All of our cards have that technology built into them now. If I did that though all my girlfriend would have to do is grab my card out…
I’d just like to add that explosives placed around the neck would be just as fast and less risk of botched attempts. Use enough C4 and you don’t even have to worry about body disposal. If the explosive doesn’t go off, you can try again with no ill effects. The convict’s brain matter is scattered across the desert…
My friend the physician insists that electrocution should be the most “humane” because a properly administered shock of sufficient voltage should dissociate the nervous system essentially immediately. The side effects that freak witnesses out, such as smoke, flames, and galvanic twitching ought not to be felt by the…
“The families of victims on death row, we made them a promise and they’re being denied justice.”
Heroin seems to be a pretty popular way to die quietly.
Such a good “Christian” state.
I had to put down my dog a few years back and was as peaceful and painless to the animal as anyone could expect.
This reminds me of confederates/hardcore racists sugar-coating their pride and reasoning for their celebrating, even admitting of wanting racism/slavery back but never admitting their racism to people that suspect, and take offense for it.
The only problem I see with this is that Infowars is on the list of sites apparently NOT fact checked. Because, bull, that is some man-shit. They are one of the biggest screechers of the bullshit about how “both sides are the same.” And didn’t they invent the whole Pizza-sex ring story?
it’s so cool how absolutely everything is a political fight.
It’s not targeting conservatives. It’s targeting misinformation, be it deliberate or incidental. The fact that conservative ‘news’ outlets are overflowing with more bullshit than a cattle ranch is hardly the fault of Google Analytics and Search Results doing their job....
???
I specifically said there is no temperature where everyone is happy and that being cold rather than hot is a personal preference of mine based on my personal experience from situations in several offices—- not a demand that we should keep all offices freezing. I am a little bias because I’ve been in offices so hot…

“Simpson repeatedly refused to name the sources who provided information to Steele.”
You missed the bit where essentially “many Bothans died to bring this information”. Yes real people have really been killed because of the dossier.
It all depends on your climate. When I lived on the East Coast with high humidity I was in no way going to allow the temps to be in the 70s in my house. I was always too hot and it all sucked.
A coworker had a similar issue: drop ceiling + vent right over her desk. Like, it blows paper right off her desk.
The only thing I hate more than a cold office is a hot office.
Before you complain keep in mind that while you can always add more layers there’s only so much you can take off before you’re fired for public indecently. Everyone has different thresholds for what they consider to be hot or cold—- so when the…
