Also really, really tired of people saying car choice is a “personal” choice. No, no it’s not; obviously, you can hurt other people with these things, and of course, they make climate change worse, literally worsening the future prospects of every other person on the planet. There is ZERO justification for not thinking

Perhaps we wouldn’t keep ranting (doesn’t feel like a rant) about range while towing if we weren’t being constantly told that this is an EV truck that does truck-like things!!

Fortunately, there are tons of people whose use case doesn’t include “towing 10,000 trailers far”, including families/people using trucks as commuters and family haulers and tons of fleet vehicles used for “truck stuff” every day.

PLUS, how does one “roll coal?” I’m actually sure there will be a kit.

Stopped in to my local dealer to pick up some parts and this was parked out front. I hope they choke on it.

Maybe, but how far can you go in a fossil fuel powered one?

Why do people keep ranting about range while towing? People that actually need to tow any great distance aren’t interested in these. These are for people that need to tow their boat five miles to the lake/river/whatever, but otherwise use their truck like a family sedan.

Should be $99,999.99

This is true. I won’t keep beating this dead horse, but Tesla completely blew a chance to get a very real head start in the electric truck market by overthinking the Cybertruck.

Not in the market for a truck or for a new vehicle of any sort for a while, but this should be a wake up call to Tesla. The F-150 is a extremely high selling vehicle and Ford has made an EV version that looks like it, does what an F-150 does and would be something that an F-150 purchaser could/should cross shop.

It didn’t squeeze between them. It hit one and just completely destroyed it. You can see it laying on the ground later in the video. Given the one on the right that you can also see that is bent to shit, I don’t think these particular bollards are very strong.

Tempered glass FTW.

Neither one of them knocked over the 2 cups on table, impressed.

I would say that we let our urban spaces by filled by gigantic speeding tanks piloted by untrained dipshits is better evidence of the “dumbest timeline” theory than some podcaster being a podcaster, personally.

“SUP Y’ALL! WE’RE HERE IN THE MIDDLE OF A WARZONE TRYING TO PREVENT THOSE GUYS OVER THERE FROM ADVANCING FURTHER INTO OUR TERRITORY OVER HERE BUT BEFORE WE DO THAT, MAKE SURE TO BOMB THAT LIKE BUTTON AND SUBSCRIBE!!!”

I don’t care what stunts you do, I'm not listening to your podcast.

neither of them asks if the other is ok.

I didn’t know GM sponsored podcasts.

on the contrary, to me, this is evidence that we’ve engineered the ultimate soldiers. nothing can phase them, not even a within-inches brush with death. they’re invincible ... as long as we can keep their devices charged

This weekend, Netflix aired it’s first live-streamed comedy special”
