C is for Crossover not Compact. Which means they took the Sport / Offroad out of the SUV. I agree with you when you say it is a jellybean shaped minivan, but that is what CUVs are, jellybean shaped minivans.

The Model X will be a big hit because people are crazy and the think they need CUVs for rain, leaves, and pebbles on the road. Model X fighters will show up quickly because the X will outsell the S and all the S fighters.
