I agree that this teen is acting like an asshat, but I sincerely disagree that his personality has formed by 17. I know I changed a lot between the ages of 18-25. My partner describes growing his “sympathy bone” at around 17/18. By telling seniors in high school that they need to “figure out who they are,” I think we…
I envy you!
Someone probably told this fool, “With your cheekbones, you can pull this look off!” and she believed it. And ran with it. Forever.
For some reason, Hollywood never trusts the BBC’s market.
I do not wish to understand.
Wow, that’s not bad at all! I had a friend who lived in Vancouver for a couple of years and to hear her talk about the winter weather you’d think it was hell on earth.
Also, did no one know this was a modern day remake of Emma???
Doesn’t every single person regret where they live right now? I sure do. (I doubt that they’ll feel any remorse that they left Vancouver once the winter hits.)
I feel for him, but I also hope that they do get divorced. It’s hard to see a way forward for them. Also, Kris is blatantly controlling. It just feeds his paranoia because some of his criticism is justified! Get out of this mess, both of you.
Ghislaine Maxwell is the Cool Girl of pedophilia and sex trafficking.
I would love to know how many kids swing left who have been brought up by conservative parents vs. kids who swing right having been brought up by liberal parents. I do know that it happens but, based on my anecdotal observations, I have a hard time believing that the numbers would be equal.
Sorry, I don’t mean for it to seem like I’m disagreeing that incarcerating a kid for missing homework is not bullshit or that that’s not technically is going on here. I’m just getting impatient with posts all over social media that are like, “IIiiiIIiiiiiiii missed a lot of homework as a child but as a WHITE PERSON I…
I don’t want to defend this trash judge! I just don’t think it’s helpful to reduce the situation to the homework. From your linked article:
Brain science is not on the parent’s side here. They’ve actually studied teen brains and found that the presence of peers increases a teen’s risk-taking behavior even when the kid has been fully educated about the possible negative outcomes. The summer house with friends is the big problem here. It’s also why…
I’m glad I’m not the only one!!! But yes. I thought of her as Apple Paltrow.
It really isn’t! And the state doesn’t have enough variety of therapeutic resources to be helpful for all kids. I know that people with private insurance go through MANY therapists and behavioral specialists before they find the right ones for their kids. Those same resources should be available to everyone.
This is nuts to me because I know people who foster children in a predominantly white county and the bar for abusive parents to get their kids back is ridiculously low. The case workers always say that being with their moms is the best thing for the kids. It really hurts the foster parents to send the kids back into…
