It really isn’t! And the state doesn’t have enough variety of therapeutic resources to be helpful for all kids. I know that people with private insurance go through MANY therapists and behavioral specialists before they find the right ones for their kids. Those same resources should be available to everyone.

This is nuts to me because I know people who foster children in a predominantly white county and the bar for abusive parents to get their kids back is ridiculously low.
