But I mean, that’s how insurance works? If the vehicle is more expensive to repair, the insurance company is going to get a premium that equates to their risk to repair the vehicle in the event of an accident. 

That’s funny because what insurers are seeing is that these systems are making people less attentive to the road, which ultimately is leading to more accidents that cost more because there is more to repair in the vehicle.
