Samsies, right down to it being a McDonald’s drink! I was lucky though, by some miracle I felt something fuzzy on my tongue and pulled the bee out (buzzing, so still alive) without getting stung. I’ve refused to leave my drink outside uncovered ever since.

I agree. I know I’m eager to hear the results of these studies regarding the J&J booster, not to mention whether or not it’s a good idea for us to “mix and match.” I feel like whenever I see any news on the vaccines, I’m constantly asking “WHAT ABOUT US J&J FOLKS?!”

I received the J&J and I don’t feel any less protected; studies all show the J&J being highly effective against Covid, including Delta. However I agree with you from a perspective of being left out-vaccine news often seems to overlook all of us who received the J&J vaccine, and it’s disconcerting.

Every time I see that movie I’m awed by how big Bart the Bear was-I swear that animal was as big as my first house.

I’ve always been particularly afraid of bears as well. I get nervous seeing them at the zoo, even though I’ve always been a huge lover of wildlife. It’s stupid, but I blame “The Great Outdoors.I know it’s a comedy, but the scene where the bear breaks into the cabin scared the shit out of me as a kid. Ditto the end

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks this. I feel like right now all women’s dresses look like they belong on toddlers.

Samsies. The face bites are particularly annoying. When I read “wear long sleeves and pants” I laughed, as that’s never stopped me from getting bit. I was trying to read outside yesterday afternoon; there was a strong breeze blowing, and it still didn’t stop those zebra fuckers from landing on me. DEET products have

Exactly. This is the shit you hear from junior high kids when they see a fight at school.

I live in MAGA Country, and the prize winner from last year was “Dump Joe and the Hoe 2020.”

I work with a woman in her early 30's who once told me a story about how her parents called the police one night when she forgot to check in with them to let them know she’d gotten home from work. She was 24 at the time. I can’t even fathom this level of attachment parenting.

I love this movie too. The atmospheres, costumes, and abundance of color alone are enough to perk me up if I’m feeling down about something.

And personally I think we were better for it. I know so many people in their late 20's and early 30's who are very immature and can barely manage to perform the most basic responsibilities. At least GenX was given the independence to become functioning adults.

I saw The Dark Knight on opening night in REAL IMAX too. It remains one of my most memorable movie going experiences. The entire crowd was practically buzzing with anticipation waiting in line to get in. When things got started, it was just like you said-you could feel the sense of awe in the room. I think our theater

This is going to sound strange, but... Mean Girls. I used to work at a newspaper, and sometimes my editor would give me the freebie screener tickets we would get for the films she wasn’t interested in reviewing. My husband I and went to the screener for Mean Girls; we were two 30-somethings thinking this would be yet a

This scene from “Shoot ‘Em Up” pretty much sums up how I feel about people who don’t use turn signals.

I probably used the wrong terminology; they tend to yield at every single entrance point once they’re already in the roundabout, regardless of whether there’s anyone coming or not.

My blood pressure goes off the rails on a regular basis whenever this happens. I’m assuming these drivers are the same people who never leave their dinky little podunk hamlet and only come “to the big city” (the population of my town is around 49,000) about twice a year.

They installed several roundabouts around the downtown square in my town about 5 years ago. I drive through them every day, and I regularly still see people entering/exiting the wrong way, driving through them without yielding properly, and my personal favorite: coming to a full stop at every. single. yield line. And

I shouldn’t have assumed they were white; that non-apology sounded a lot like the type of response many people in my hometown would give if they were involved in an incident such as this. Not to mention the terrible grammar.

Sounds like typical white trash bullshit to me.
