Well they met their fairly modest goal.

What happened to James Gunn was a really eye-opening experience for me in terms of how horrible and toxic that platform really is. You can work yourself into a frenzy reading about awful things and the constant feedback loop of Twitter will keep you in that state of stress and aggression. It’s not healthy, productive

Oooh great idea. Google alerts are better than Google itself but I haven’t checked mine in awhile. Everything seemed to be pretty much halted after Iger said his piece.

Oh yeah. Twitter gives zero shits about actual problem accounts. Tea Pain over on Twitter has been dealing with a knockoff account that’s scamming folks out of money for fraudulent charities, and Twitter has done dick all after multiple reports.

I reported NunyaBizness probably 8 times and Twitter did not give a flying fuck about my explanation that calling me a pedophile was effectively libel. Not one single fuck. Hence - no more Titter for me - EVER.

Good Morning,

Wait, what happened now? I wasn’t on the intertubes all that much this weekend, so I’m still playing catch up.

Somewhat related to the Joker pictures we’ve been getting.

I pretty much suspect this was Horn freaking out and making a snap decision after how they handled the Rosanne debacle earlier. I don’t know the man of course, but my theory is he had possible headlines running through his mind and pulled the trigger before consulting anyone with a damn brain in the company.

Interesting that io9 avoided those parts...

In the same interview as this one, he states that the Gunn decision came to him as “unanimous” from below (AKA from Marvel Studios) and he merely blessed it, and sees no reason to second guess a unanimous decision from the subsidiary company. I mean why would he? I hate that Gunn was fired...but why would he overrule

Given that Iger is also the one who is holding firm on firing James Gunn, not sure I’m going to trust his instincts....

...they’re all pursuing the dream of living free from the constraints of civilization, on the run and gradually traveling east after a botched robbery.

Talk about a whiner.

Then don’t use one or switch to Android. :eyes rolls

Because we all carry tape measures around with us all the time.

I just like the idea that you carry a tool box with you throughout the day.

“old man yells at phone”

RACIST CANDYMAN.
BRB, dying.

Now playing

Yup! Die, Monster, Die! (that exclamation point is indeed part of the title) It’s a low budget Roger Corman-esque flick that’s a fun little watch. It takes some serious liberties with the source material of course, but it’s got its own bit of charm.
