It was disappointing, wasn’t it. They dialed in SO MUCH torque management into the lower gears, the car just felt sluggish and numb.

People are forgetting that even though the Bronco has come with V8’s over the years, the base 2.3 makes more power (and I think torque too) than ANY other Bronco in history. Even during the the “gross” rating years.

I’m 5’11” on a good day, and if my legs were maybe 3” thick, I could sit behind myself...and I sit fairly close while driving a stick, with minimal lean, not sitting straight up though. 4-door MK7 GTI with cloth seats

Unless he was driving a Jetta Sportwagen, the rear springs are known for breaking, even while sitting...buddy found both springs had cracked and broken off one day when he walked out to his car.

I mean, the same basic engine has been in the Mustang since 2015, the MKX, and Focus RS for awhile now. There’s some well documented history of head gasket failures on the RS...but it seems to be limited to the RS. The one problem with this engine is if you start pushing the boost up, the open deck block allows a bit…
