Last summer I was seeing Tesla’s everywhere in northwest Michigan (Sleeping Bear Dunes area). Would never have thought

I own this bag, use it everyday for work, travel with it, abuse it, and it just takes it. The external USB jack for a USB charger is super handy too. This is the best work bag I’ve ever had...I’ve had multiple Swiss Gear bags that fall apart, or are just completely inferior. This bag rules 2 years later and not a

It’s a 2.5 gasser these days, and it’s got a surprising amount of punch, much more than it’s 186 HP number belies. Wife and I have a new one. It’s not fast by any means though, and most of the instrumented tests I’ve seen have the NA gasser a couple ticks quicker.

Interesting, we have a 2019 CX-5 AWD NA gasser, and average around 24-25 around town, and are in the high 20’s highway.

Wife and I just bought a new CX-5, and didn’t even bother looking at the diesel...slow and “terrible” gas mileage, woof. Does it also require DEF?

Wow, I didn’t realize the diesel version “only” gets 27/30...the regular 2.5 NA gasser only gets 2 less combined, and the same highway. Even with $10K off, still doesn’t seem to be worth it. But if you can get the Signature for that price, truly, that seems more like an actual deal.

Was my initial thought too, I say bring it on

The roadcourses, to me, are the main attraction for these transmissions. But it now could be beneficial to downshift on some ovals now, depending on the number of gears and the speed of the shifter. NASCAR teams are always trying to eek out tenths here and there, so who knows what they’ll be doing.

I didn’t see the cam phaser issues as nearly as prevalent (I know some Ford’s have a cam phaser issue, but thought they were confined to Mod motor 5.4's). People seem to complain aboutt pre-mature turbo failures, although in reading and investigating those, I find those to be more maintenance related than random

Maybe I’m in the minority, but I’d rather have a true sedan or a true wagon, over a 5 door hatch. The 5 doors just look goofy to me. I’m really hoping this does come over, and maybe also comes over as a standard WRX

We went balls out and went with the GT premium package. The heads up display is neat for awhile, but not really all that necessary. And really, I’m not sure if it was really all that necessary. The cooled seats are awesome though.

Much like the CX-5 turbo, I’m not sure it NEEDS to exist. Wife and I just bought a CX-5, and even the dealer’s were struggling trying to explain the benefits of the turbo model. If you want a bit more power, and not insignificant worse mileage, the turbo is your game. The N/A CX-5 is faster than you’d expect from it’s

Late to the party, and I can see it’s going the way I expected. The Flex definitely has polarizing looks. Personally I love it, and loved it so much, I bought one.

Not crazy expensive at all. When I did my Flex, winter’s were ~$800 and summer around $600.

For insurance reasons, it’s classified as a van

Does it come with lifetime DTap shots?

The kicker was when I was talking to a guy that has a newer Mazda6 (non-turbo) and a 2.oT Fusion, and he said from a stop, no question, the mazda is faster...and that’s with a good 60 less HP in a very similar platform...hell the engines are fairly closely related too, if I remember right

The Fusion was/is a good car. It’s bigger instead, somehow, than the Taurus, handles WAY better, gets good gas mileage, and is a generally pleasant appliance car. One thing that always bugged me was the 2.oT never felt like it had the 250 HP it claimed. Maybe Ford dialed a bunch of power back in the tuning, but it

They don’t...I’ve never really heard of general transmission or driveline issues with the Fusions...
