Louisiana has an app that links your ID, DL, etc. They added your COVID status to it and it has made this whole process so incredibly easy. No fumbling with fragile cardboard cards, it’s just in your phone right there on the front page.

All this one-upping in range misses the fact that a) the higher the range, the higher the carbon footprint of an EV. The point of an EV is to lower your carbon footprint, for most people. b) the higher the range, the higher the cost, as the battery is the most expensive bit and c) the overwhelming majority of EV…

I’m truly baffled at people that don’t use rechargable batteries. I haven’t bought regular throwaway batteries in at least a decade. There’s zero need for it when I have a drawer full of batteries that can be topped up in a matter of hours.

I have, in my pocket, a small screen, that is capable of receiving radio waves. Why on earth does nobody make a TV Tuner attachment so I can watch TV? Why would I have to eat my data plan searching for an illegal stream to watch the NFL game that’s being broadcast OTA for free, right now?

I think it’s interesting that you were surprised that 700lbs in the bed of a truck rated at a full ton didn’t make much of a difference. That’s only 35% of it’s rated capacity.

Those guns are notoriously inaccurate at higher speeds. Remember the RC51 that got clocked at 195mph or something? The RC51 goes 155mph on a good day.

I had a Maserati for a while that was my daily driver. That thing never skipped a beat...I always said it was because I drove it almost every day, and gave it a good pasting with some regularity.

I have the Mercury White version, been using it for a few months now, and it’s solid. The battery is good enough for a cross-country plane flight, the keyboard is great for banging out long emails, the screen is easy on my eyes, it’s small and nice to carry, and I can play Mafia 3 at 720p in high settings smoothly.…

I bought a longbed diesel GMC Canyon Denali and it does every damn thing people want 1500s for. I tow cars with it, I haul lumber and dirt bikes, and I go up the occasional trail. But it’s like a foot narrower, so I can fit into normal parking spaces.

It’s weird that there’s two weiners and a nut instead of two nuts and a weiner.
