True, though, to be fair, some people actually are too skinny. I had an eating disorder myself and was so thin that people actually came up to me in my dorm and asked if I was dying of cancer.

Overreacting emotionally like that is a symptom of PTSD. It's not an etiquette issue.

I forgot about those!

Me neither. That's so strange. I would be pissed.

My point is that it's ridiculous to try to fit into a 4 year old's clothes since they are almost as tiny as a miniature dog's sweater and what the hell is the point of it. Sorry, I thought that was clear but maybe it wasn't.

That's true, though you wouldn't know it to read all the comments on here by women bragging about how they can shop in the children's department.

I didn't find her post that objectionable and I get tired of commenters piling on one person who dares to express a different opinion. You don't have to be fat to have an opinion on who is or isn't skinny, and your retorting "Well, you must be fat!!!" makes you sound like an anorexic 14 year old.

Well, I have shopped in the children's section myself, but not for the toddler sized clothes. Toddler sizes are a whole other level of petiteness.

Wait. I can buy larger clothes in the boy's department, but you seriously can fit into clothes made for a 4-year-old? I could see clothes made for a 10 year old, but you are buying undershirts made for a 4 year old boy?

okay, I missed the part where you said the nightgown was way too big. That I can understand, along with the rest of the story. But a lot of other people posted as well, saying they can wear clothes sized for toddlers, so I am basically just sitting here thinking, WTF.

Get the kid new pajamas STAT.

Send the daughter to fat camp?

Am I the only one on this site who can't fit into clothes I wore when I was 3? WTF.

You're not alone. Though after reading that all these people can fit into kids' clothes, shoes and training bras, I kind of feel like an overgrown freak.

At least you can save money on kids' clothes. And on bras!

Yup, kid must be a heifer.

I can fit into some clothes from the boys' department. But a 4-year-old? Damn.

I'm just amazed you can fit into them. I have 34dd breasts and there is simply no way I can get into a child's clothing.

It's a pile-on free for all for nearly anything.

Yes, if that's naturally your body type.
