Mr. Chickens and I both got food poisoning on our honeymoon. We suffered through three days of agony, and realized that we really were great together.

At least half the class! Their parents are children of the 80s, so they have carried that on with their kids. It is so great!

Wow! What beautiful words! Believe me that I will carry them with me on even the most difficult days! It is hard to find that balance today between the sense of wonder and the need for academics. This is a lovely reminder that that balance is SO necessary!

I let 2 students sign up to share something on Fridays. Sometimes we have sign ups and sometimes not. It is a great way to build classroom community, share news, and learn new things.
