Completely agree.  The weird thing about Crystal Skull for me was how passive Marion was.  Karen Allen acted very oddly in that role.  I know people do mellow when they get older but the character of Marion was so great in the 1st movie because of her attitude and grit yet in Crystal Skull she was none of those things.
