Great article. I’ve always been obsessed with getting extra access or pushing the lines of how far one can go. I would imagine this would be a lot harder to achieve now-a-days.

How about any job that someone will do for a “sub-living wage”. Just because you show up someplace for 40 hours a week and successfully manage to not shit your pants doesn’t mean your entitled to a certain amount of money. If Harvard can find people to do that same work for a fraction of what those people are asking

For a job that a motivated 14 year old could probably perform with a few hours of training? Yea, kinda.

600 people asking to work and be paid in the summer when the need is probably a tiny fraction of that actually does seem like a lot to ask to me.

Well, as you folks on this blog love to constantly point out, the First Amendment doesn’t protect you from consequences of your behavior by a non-state actor. They made their choice, and now they’re paying for it. No sympathy here.

And only 7 of those points were off a forward pass that hit the ground before being run in for a touchdown!

Semi-related, but I was at the game Saturday, and he got ROCKED by a targeting hit on Minnesota (dude was ejected, pretty sure made us come back and win). Yet no media coverage :( But it has me wondering if other teams will start seeking him out to put him in his place that he is “still just a kicker”.

“Disorder’s for me. Dat one, too.”

I fail to see how my comment was racist. A 14 year old kid ran from police and fired a gun at them and I’m racist for pointing out that this should be discussed as a problem too?

I’m going to go ahead and guess this was the reason they feared for their lives: “he revealed a pistol and fired one shot at them”

Yeah because a 14 kid with a gun isn’t the problem the police are right?

14 year old with a gun usually isn’t out selling cookies.

I don’t care who’s shooting at me, trained or not. If bullets are headed my way I’m afraid for my life.

Yeah, I mean why would anyone be afraid of being shot at. They should have just let the kid keep shooting because, after all, their training will magically keep bullets from piercing their bodies.

Could be worse. It might not have hit him at all.

IT WAS A CATCH
