Sorry, the formula worked back then because people weren’t concerned about PC. The formula allowed different races and genders and cultures to relate, not to the shade that the girls were colored in, but to their personalities. Siblings and friends would give themselves a label, “I am more like Bubbles”, “I’m more

I’m guessing if you’ve never heard it before, anime probably isn’t your jam. But Cowboy Bebop isn’t really your typical anime, and the music (including the intro) composed by Yoko Kanno is just one aspect of its awesomeness. It’s worth giving an episode or two a watch.

How have I never heard this? This is amazing.

Its.... not even close.

Self-promotion and ego didn’t get the `94 team to the final-16, my friend.

This generic talking point makes no logical sense.

I’ll go one further: in sports, there is no such thing as “deserve.” There are only results.

This is indeed the smartest comment. There are X amount of spots. If they get one, then they deserved to get one. End of story.

Couldn’t you just Ctrl+F and replace “2018" with “2014? And then replace “United States” with “Mexico”?

This is dumb moralizing. If they qualify for the tournament, they deserve to make the tournament.
