Marco Rubio is a disingenuous little prick. His statement that we should just “wait for all the information to come out” beliews the fact that the WH is actively trying to prevent any information from “coming out”.

I’ve seen that picture many times before, but it will never cease to fill me with existential dread.
First, it’s not a straw man. That’s what OP is asking for: I paid for something, now give it to me RIGHT NOW and it had better work RIGHT NOW and there is NO ROOM for anything otherwise. My point was that you can’t expect everything to work perfectly as intended at all times because fallible beings make fallible…
You do know that “liberal enclaves” make up more than half the population of the country, right? They’re called “cities”. And generally, they have experience providing services to their residents. Those in the boondocks, however, will be stuck with no access to food, no means of production, and once their supplies run…
Something tells me that, if it came down to a neighborhood with some 9mm’s versus the American military complex, that neighborhood goes down in a single drone strike.
“If you’re so worried about political discourse devolving into violence, maybe you should contribute to that violence”.
So, like every other time he sets foot outside the WH?
The problem with that strategy is that you simply cannot reason with the unreasonable. If someone insists on existing in an alternate reality in which facts are completely destabilized, how do you have a meaningful conversation with that person?
Atlanta may be landlocked, but it’s hardly an island (to continue the metaphor). The surrounding red areas are more a puddle than an ocean.
Totally off topic, but I’m not sure that I’ve ever read one of your columns before (not that I was intentionally avoiding, I just don’t often pay attention to the by-lines on these articles) - this was a wonderful read. Thoughtful and reflective and it cemented that I have no interest in this movie.
You’re making a helluva lot of assumptions here, chief. Also, your conclusion doesn’t make sense, even from a straight syntax perspective. Perhaps at some point...what? There needs to be another clause there.
Or that he doesn’t have to be stoned while committing those crimes.
I dunno, man, with that level of sanctimoniousness, self-awareness, and fundamental misunderstanding of what a conclusion is or how it operates, I feel like you’re making a great case for being DJT, yourself.
Careful, there’s a non-zero chance that cepalg is Tomatoface by another name.
Look, just because his economic policies will no doubt result in runaway inflation...I don’t know where I was going with that. But $400 isn’t a lot when a hamberder commands $100.
Are you shitting me? That’s downright coherent. No tangents, no thoughts interrupting other thoughts. As stupid as it is, at least there’s a syntax there.
What’s the matter, Jacob, did the hecklers hurt your feelings?
At least you’re being reasonable.
People that pay for products do expect them to work...at some point. The Post Office indicates that I’ll get my package, but it can’t guarantee that it’ll be at my front door on a specific day at a specific time.
He is America’s answer to Otm Shank.
