I'll be working Thanksgiving at my retail job, and most likely Christmas as well. I don't care about the day; the holidays mean nothing to me anymore. What I do care about at the rabid assholes who think the world revolves around their need to get some cheap trinket on sale. I work in a cosmetics department, and there

At my retail job, at least, we cannot take gifts from customers. If a gift is delivered, it must be donated or destroyed if it cannot be donated. That's corporate policy, unfortunatly. Although, with some of the crazy assholes we get around the holidays, even if we could get edible gifts from customers, I wouldn't

I had this discussion with some friends when I dressed as Medusa for a party before last Halloween. One said they'd be worms, urggghhh. But I believe they'd be teeny tiny baby snakes. Cute little ones. And it isn't an issue since she usually wears a loose-fitting dress with no modern undergarments. :)

I'm guessing that if their real personality is even slightly similar to their online persona, maybe that's why their server didn't want to be extra chatty with them. I think it's entirely possible that the server was racist, but I also think it is equally possible that this person comes across as a complete asshole in

I was going to ask this also, but I don't think it's worth it. Unless the server said something racist, or something like that, they don't know if the server gave them the silent treatment because of race. And I'm guessing it wasn't something like that, because all they had to complain about was "silent treatment."

I imagine the weapons they'll be using will be far more advanced. I'm not too worried... I'll be one of the humans kept as a pet/ worker.

I don't know a lot about photography, but I'm a fan of Harry Whittier Frees and most of his early photo postcards are from 1905/ 1906. The "One of the Smart Set" cat toward the top of this list is from 1906, and the cat is not dead, it appears over and over again in postcards of his in lots of different poses. I don't

Harry Whittier Frees used live animals, if you look at a lot of his work you see the same cats over and over, and they aren't dead. If you look at taxidermy cats from that time period, or even most from modern times, you can see the huge difference in how they look. His kittens in later photos aren't photographed in

I like a lot of nail art, but I've never understood the sort of faux nail shape like the ones in the picture you have here. It's like they're little shovels or duck feet or something. Nails aren't supposed to get wider and more square shaped as they grow out. It looks abnormal and awkward. Ugh.

I know some of my coworkers do, along with a bunch of other crap reality shows. I don't understand where people find the time to watch all this crap, or why they watch it, or how they can keep up with everything going on in the shows. Just reading the comments in this post, about what this one or that one did and who

"... an offense greater than body odor or bad breath- an odor she may not detect herself but is so apparent to other people."

But... perhaps I should use both, one in the morning and one in the evening, to safeguard my daintiness? I really don't want to take any chances when it comes to my feminine charm.

Don't forget Zonite! It was apparently a weak bleach solution. I cannot imagine what bleach- even weak bleach- would do to one's delicate bits. ;__;

For some reason I just love old ads like these. Even though it's sad, and this sort of shit still goes on today, albeit in a far more subtle way. They're just delightful to me for some reason. :P

Tropical Breeze, Spring Flowers, or Clean Linen. Of course.

Yes. I work in a cosmetics department and get so many women who expect whatever makeup is being advertised to give them the same features as the model in the ad. They don't want to do any research about what would be best for them, and for the most part they don't want to take any extra steps that I recommend that

Long, healthy lashes are associated with youth, and mascara can draw attention to your eyes and make them look larger... larger eyes are associated with femininity. People may not mention them specifically, but frequently large, pretty eyes attract attention.

Cuteness and wuv. They killed with cuteness and wuv. :3

Yep, it doesn't look all that safe... I was going to say it's all fun and games until the kid falls backward off it and cracks their head. I'm not a parent, but I'm guessing it would kind of suck to have your baby get a horrible head injury* just because you wanted a fun video to post online.
