How dare you compare our Civil War to Nazism.
How dare you compare our Civil War to Nazism.
it pays tribute to those who died fighting for part of American history and shows respect to the descendants.
The sheer volume of stupidity and ignorance in that comment must be a record.
As an evil genius, I can tell you that our sinister plan will all be worthwhile. Muahahahahaha!
Uh huh.
The Lab report always says you’re OK to fly. Yes it does. Yesh it dooooes! Who says I’m okay to fly? You do! Rawr-rawr-rawr...
Nope, wasn’t a designer. But I was there and saw how silly the armchair engineers who know nothing of real-world development are.
There’s some real truth to that — JB is a proven asset for development and Alonso hasn’t always been great in that regard. Still, unless Honda comes through radically, somehow, they’re still going to be a backmarker next year. As a Button and McLaren fan, I’d kinda prefer he become a McLaren GT driver/brand ambassador…
+1. Sadly (or thankfully given F1’s trajectory), I think this year’s it for him. Would be great to see him join WEC. Or a McLaren brand ambassador of some sort.
Uhhhh, have you been watching the same Formula 1 the rest of us have?
Resistance is futile.
I hate you.
You ever capture a crime in progress while, say, driving or defending yourself? It may not suit your delicate sensibilities but quick, one-handed operation is easier holding it like that.
Are you really trying to tell this to someone involved in the project? Do you really think you know more than the teams of engineers trying to fix the problems and prepare it for market?! This isn’t slapping on a bottle and calling it a day.
Take a look at the Sky-D system. Then realize that re-engineering w/SCR, re-testing, and further re-engineering to reach the set specifications they couldn’t reach, plus re-attempting certification is a MASSIVE and costly undertaking. After serious smog issues and de-tuning (to the point it didn’t produce enough power…
But it didn’t - When did you see a Sky-D car on the road here in the US? They were just a back marker to be passed by classes and cars people actually liked.
Actually people buying those segments aren’t real “performance” racing oriented. Mazda buyers enjoy the sporting feel and look to enthusiasts who like to recommend Mazda. Also, the market for larger engines is laughably small - V6’s don’t sell well at all. Base engines like the 2.5 cover the market fine.
It requires rethinking the entire engine. With promotion of “Skyactive” the whole reason they were racing, it wasn’t going to work.
Some insight: The nail was put in diesel when they realized their Sky-D may never work here, despite all the announcements of it coming in the 6. That justified the whole racing program. It was just a misstep from the start (no urea system) that never worked right, made heaps of smog, and had to be detuned into “why…
