Vingroup has businesses all over Vietnam. You might buy groceries at VinMart and clothing at VinPlaza.

Hey Jalopnik! More articles like this.

People complain about this, but I have to wonder how much of it is “i hate being stuck behind a Prius” and not about how fast they are going. I have one and regularly drive 85 when I can, but sometimes I’ll go up to 95 or so when I’m on a stretch of road that I know cops can’t/don’t monitor.

Some people don’t care what other people think of the vehicle they drive.

Up front, there’s a new lighting array that is modern, without being too much like a sci-fi gimmick.

Great design. I still maintain that the Gen2 Prius (the one that became really popular) was a pretty attractive car that has aged very well. This is definitely the best looking one since that, maybe even better.

This was my first thought. Insurance is supposed to be approaching actual cash value, and that’s nowhere near close here. A quick look around me and I see ‘13 Civic Hybrids at or over $17k - not $14k.

I agree. I was behind a Wagoneer on the freeway the other day. It was gray and looked like it should cost no more than $45k. Its plain for what it is.

The Grand Wagoneer looks like a Commander that did some bicep curls, took a gas station d*ck pill and put a tight undershirt on. The smaller Wagoneer is way better in terms of proportion in comparison and its a crime that it doesn’t get the 6.4. I will say that the lack of exterior trim and character lines ruins both

The point is, a fairly “normal” EV Hyundai has a 0-60 time much closer to the Corvettes and STIs of the world than the Elantras and CR-Vs.

I drove one a few times, and while it was nice (and quirky), it’s MSRP was way too high vs. the competition.

Eames-meets-Saarinen-like

The reason they killed the Alltrack is because Americans have no taste. It was a great car, damn handsome, and could be had with a manual. But nooooo people want Outbacks and SUVs. The ONLY reason I didn’t get a manual Alltrack when they were blowing them out is because I had a GTI that was only six months old.

As an owner of an I3 Rex(range extender), I can say it is way more into the quirky then any other car I’ve ever owned...and the list is long and distinguished. After some...let’s call it jailbreaking...software changes, it is a super useful little hybrid. I can drive it as far as I feel like on gas but I fill the

The Ioniq5 looks like a 1980s idea of a futuristic car and I’m here for it. I love that bold crease down the side, I love the grid taillights. It looks like something out of Total Recall. The only thing I don’t like is the wheels, which don’t really fit the styling of the rest of the car.

Tax credit does not equal rebate. You can only claim a tax credit if you have a liability (owe) taxes and even then you can only use the credit for up to what you owe. Meaning you would have to owe $7500 in taxes to actually claim the full tax credit, if you owe $2500 congrats you get $2500. You can only apply the

I really like the Ioniq 5 and it is quirky compared to most cars, but as far as quirky EVs go, it’s a beige Camry compared to the BMW i3.

The other day Elon complained it wasn’t fair that other manufacturers were getting a $7,500 tax credit for their EVs (which Tesla has already exhausted), and his stans were all “oh my God, that’s so unfair!”, “the government hates Tesla”, etc. etc.

I’m a fan of Tesla and Musk and even I think this move makes Musk look like a hypocrite on the “free speech” thing and is not good at all.

“At MuskCo, we can’t in good conscience employ workers who are unwilling to stand by the statements we’re firing them for.”
