She comes across as someone who is not familiar with tattoo culture. His work - the goofy, the ironic, the “brash,” is very common among tattoo peeps. Her showcasing his work in some taste measure is just ... ill informed.

His analogy stands though. People are his portfolio - he can decide what to tattoo, and what not to. The author doesn’t sound too familiar with tattoo culture. If she was, she’d get the analogy.

Not really. I agree with what you were saying (that it's just as dangerous for women in other places) but I don't think just naming random gang rape incidents will prove that. Pretty simple.

You're missing the point. I'm not arguing with you about whether India or the UK or the US is safer for women, or gang rape stats. What I am saying is that you should support your argument in these threads. It's a valid one, but just citing random rapes doesn't prove anything.
