That’s what I was thinking - C&Ds like this aren’t uncommon, and they’re usually pretty short and to the point.  In this one they really went out of their way to let Lake know that they loathed her.  I especially loved how they called her “revolting”.

She always make me think of that scene in My Cousin Vinny where Joe Pesci is explaining to Ralph Macchio how the prosecution’s case is like a playing card. It seems impressive if you look at it at exactly the right angle, but at any other angle you can see that nothing’s there.

Pulp Fiction is a very solid second, but Jackie Brown is far and away his best film.
