I guess giz wanted some extra website hits tonight.

As as much as an OLED tv interests me, I'm much more interested in the following specs for my next apartment:

I'd rather my company give me an Asus Transformer Prime... but since they are so insistent on Blackberry, it would be nice to have this.

I understand the desire for thinnest as much as I understand the desire for giant phones too. My perfect phone dimensions would be around a 4" screen with minimal bezel. 120x62x10mm.

Windows 8 better have a built in, universal notification system... Look at Gnome 3 for example.

If Intel wants to the join the party late, they should be arriving with a cutting edge, 22nm, "3d" transistor, Ivy Bridge technology, based SoC that runs ARM instructions like everything else.

Finally real LED displays, and they can stop marking LCDs with LED backlighting as LED.

That's pretty cool, but anything over 300ppi or so is pointless anyway, I'd rather have the display around 4", 4.5" is just getting ridiculous.

They should ditch Unity and make a version of Gnome 3 with a persistent taskbar. The disappearing taskbar is the dumbest GUI decision of all time and what drove me back to Windows 7.

Firefox is slow and locks up? Umm, I don't think I've encountered either of those two complaints since about Firefox 3.0. Firefox 9 is excellent, and even javascript is fast.

AMD has done triple core, the Xbox 360 has 3 cores. It's not common, but there is no reason why it shouldn't make sense.

This looks like it should go in a home router and run OpenWRT/Tomato.

When I took a new job in Manhattan I had to switch to Verizon for my personal phone because of this. It would be interesting to know how LTE propagates indoors.

So say we all.

I no longer use iOS (Android now) This seems counter intuitive, if they are heavily used apps they would be on your main screen anyway. I'd keep my notifications clear.

I consider Verizon's 4G LTE outages a minor concern. Their 3G technology is poor at best (with the exception of good call quality), it's slow, doesn't support simul voice+data, doesn't do call forwarding and 5 way calls like AT&T, etc. But now the have one of the fastest networks in the world and certain things are

You may think differently when CM9 comes out.

A monochrome theme like this would really need AMOLED in my opinion as the black levels would really be required to make it pop.

It's pretty comical that Google Voice is better for iOS than it is for Android. The GV app for Android is the most pathetic piece of crap i've ever used on a phone. And when you tell it to use the text app so you don't have to deal with it, it uses your text messages instead of data. Pathetic.

Here's an idea HTC, stop putting your crappy Sense on all these phones, ship stock Android like the Nexus series, and actually support your phones for 2 years after they come out like Apple does. Half of your 2011 lineup is already facing not running ICS unless they root (which is difficult due to your BS signed
