I’m in the same boat as you. I only turn my PS4 on for High end audio while playing Blu-rays that isn’t supported on Xbox. Before upgrading my audio receiver that supports these codecs I hadn’t turned the PS4 on in at least a year.

There is only a few movies that have it right now. And you have to make sure your setup allows X to be run. The same with Atmos. Check online to see if your receiver received an update and compare it to your current version
