Our broken political system — both nationally in the US and globally. There are a lot of serious problems mentioned in these comments, but most of them have somewhat reasonable solutions. The biggest problem of them all is that our national and world governments are completely ill-suited to come up with solutions

The way I think about this is..."would I be OK with someone approaching one of my sisters and saying/doing what I'm about to say/do?". If the answer is "yes" you're probably in the clear.

Uh...no. There's no difference. The reason Netflix is paying Comcast is to "avoid low priority". Netflix traffic was slowing down big time on Comcast's network, so they "avoided low priority" by paying Comcast. It's the same thing.
