E3 was plagued with “Influencer” advertising. It made me want to go outside and yell at a cloud. I’m sure the youngins enjoyed the ‘Oh my goodness! That is so-and-so!’ moments, but for me it was just annoying padding that was distracting from game reveals.

Yep, and also there weren’t skins designed to look like Matt Damon from The Martian, Sandra Bullock from Gravity, and Chris Pratt from Guardians of the Galaxy because they definitely didn’t do any of that.

It’s far from my first visual novel. It’s the first I’ve played published on a console that’s been this blatant. 

I am in no way defending these choices, but is this one of your first visual novels? I feel as if you can count on almost every A+ popular visual novel being overly perverted/sexual and also sexualizing minors. Even Phoenix Wright does it with Pearl Fey.
