"Too close in size" means "we'll lose F-150 sales to the lower-profit Ranger and possibly lose the 'Best Selling Truck' label even though we earn the title by combining everything into an 'F-Series' and claiming the sales win but we can't rename the Ranger to F-100 to keep the title because then Ranger fans will

A Forbes article about the 500X unveiling quoted the FIAT brand CEO stating a sales figure in the US of 60,000 cars annually

And I know what the paperwork said. It wasn't a rebate.

It was substantially discounted. Out the door it was about $3k less than the MSRP of a new one. And this is a sub-$20k compact to start with.

No argument, but working for the federal government means IT has locked us out of installing programs ourselves and we're therefore forced into whatever programs are whitelisted. IE only for browsers.

Shouldn't it be the CTS in this chart? The XTS serves an altogether different purpose.

You'd have had an aneurysm with my girlfriend's car. It had just under 1,000 miles on it. Also sorry for the double post, I meant to delete the other one but got posted anyways. Kinja doesn't like IE very much.

My custom ordered car came with 10. Others on the lot had 70 and a notice in the glove compartment that they had been randomly selected after assembly for controlled weather testing for quality assurance purposes. My girlfriend's car had just under 1,000 miles on it from test drives and being shuffled around the lot.

We should. Even though the interior is sinfully ugly.

Both letters state that GM is working on a software update solve the issue, although how they'll do it remains to be seen (maybe yet another legal disclaimer on the screen?), but the real question is: How did GM's legal department not see this coming?

They are, but it's a simple rebadge called the RAM 750 for Mexico and other markets. At least that's what I'm hearing. I certainly hope it comes here. With the right options, I'm at the dealer the same day.

Isn't the Navara the next Frontier?

The Colorado isn't meant for you, then. It's mean for people who do not usually carry heavy stuff and would prefer to save the $4k, and/or the people who want a truck that is physically smaller than a 1500.

The Renegade will apparently be offered with a 4x4 manual, and this is the FIAT-ized Renegade. It's possible, but it depends on the kind of image FIAT NA wants and whether they project the sales will justify it.

Yes, it replaces the Sedici.

I'm split between an Extended cab 2WD or a Crew Cab (short box) 4WD, both of them LTs with options ranging from $30k to about $34k. The Extended cab would win if I use it more for hauling home improvement projects and the Crew Cab would win if I use it to take friends out for some camping/kayaking/outdoorsing.

I'm slowly making peace with this. Just took another look at the configurator and a manual gets pushed near the console, so it might be messy to shift and use that storage cubby, plus it loses a cupholder that way.

The similar-power I4's in the Frontier and Tacoma are good for 3500 pounds, so I expect the Colorayon to perform similarly. Just roughing out an idea based on engine size, international performance, and likely positioning, and I'd guess the diesel will be between the two in towing, leaning more towards the bigger

So...that means it's quite likely for the I4s+diesel to get over 30.

The RAM 1500 doesn't fit in my garage. These probably can.
