I came on to say exactly this series. It really only needed one book.

We haven’t even found all the animals alive today...
Well, I do eat less than that. Sometimes when I eat out I order meat, but mostly I order chicken. Most of my red meat comes from bolognese - I cook 250 grams amongst other stuff, for two adults and three kids, and there’s usually at least a third left over. I cook it maybe every second week. Salchichas are turkey, and…
I never knew different facial hair responded differently to shaving - I always assumed the stubble was too short to make a difference. Thanks for filling me in.
Who the hell gets razor burn with cartridges?

You’re running loose in the moors with your kin, just having a good time, and you stop for a bit of a natter next to Tirith Rhaw. Thirty seconds later an entire craid of spiders bursts out of the ground around you, and no-one even gets a blow off they just scream like little kids when the tooth fairy arrives with a…
WTF? I did not write substation there. “substantial”.
That’s true if you include non-speaking extras - the car rally scenes alone are filled with women trying to be sexier than the cars. But speaking roles have pretty strong women characters, comparable to others outside of Dom and Brian (strong as in not shallowly written).
The roles are as substation as anyone outside of Dom and Brian. I love the women in those movies.
I loved Fast and the Furious because it was a straight-up car racing smash fest and didn’t try to be anything else, and I liked the following movies when they followed the same formula.

A lot of fires in Indonesia are set to clear land, to open the way for farming. Not always subsistence farming, often for large scale plantations. It’s illegal to clear the jungle, but if it’s already been burned away it’s a lot more difficult to prevent the change in land use.
That guy at the end was from Atrox! McIncest!
Since you’ve brought it up...
You can all be skeptics if you like, but when we were kids the house next door was haunted. An octogenarian mysteriously died in there of natural causes, and after that all the kids knew it was haunted, despite the fact there was never any unexplained sounds or sightings of phantasmagorical presences or weird smells…
László Bíró, although technically he was a newspaper editor, but he came up with the idea for an effective ballpoint pen, and his brother perfected the ink. That’s made my life a lot easier.
That Pod video is hilarious, I couldn’t stop laughing.
My sister has that language. One time she wanted a set of pencils, and my mum individually wrapped each pencil - my sister was legitimately excited with each unwrapping. “Yellow! Excellent!”
