This game should have been right up my alley. I heard Sci-fi/Shooter/Isometric, and that’s all it took. Into the steam cart it goes. After 15 or so hours in, however, I can’t bring myself to keep playing. It’s hard to put my finger on it, but this game feels like work.

You can do that, all it does is speed the process up a bit. However if you let it go to long, the beans get a weird sort of mushy, and mealy. Not to mention, even after the boil, they still had the slight off taste of baking soda.

The most use I get out of my pressure cooker (old school style, with the weighted valve up top) is cooking dried beans. No soak required. 45 minutes to an hour max, and they’re tender. Some of the best beans I’ve had, have come from this pressure cooker.

That you need to warm up your modern EFI car for 10 minutes before driving. Just start it, wait for the idle to stabilize then keep it below 2500rpm until it gets to operating temperature. Your transmission is still ice cold no matter how long you idle.

It took me way to long to figure out that Del Taco was miles beyond Taco Bell.  There’s one half a mile from my house, it’s dangerous.

I don’t care what sort of sprays/soaps/personal lubricant you put onto your car, using a paper towel will scratch and swirl the ever living crap outta your paint. Don’t do it.

If I’m plugging my phone into the head unit through a USB adapter though, I can’t keep my phone charged, and that kinda sucks.  I love having a dedicated headphone jack.

The specs on this are awesome.....but man is it fugly. It’s somehow boring and ugly at the same time.

I think that’s because the Pan Am is so radically different than what HD has done in the recent past. With this bike however, if somebody wanted the look and style (with a smidge of the performance) of a flat tracker-ish build, they probably already bought a FTR....

A lot of these fall firmly under the category of “More Dollars Than Sense”.

I’m the furthest thing from a sneakerhead (I own...maybe 4 pairs of footwear?), but damn if I’m not a sucker for dark green.  Those are sexy.
