I really don’t like the design. The Samus stencil looks like a fan job, not really a thoughtful design. I like the color combination, but wouldn’t something more iconic and abstract work better? Not so figurative. I really like the Majora’s Mask and Hyrule designs because of that.

I know I’m hoping against all odds, but would it help me that I paid with PayPal and I’ve already been charged? No refund yet for me, no cancellation email and the order looks fine on my Wal-Mart account.
I guess it’s just a matter of time before I get all of that and lose my pre-order, or it’d be extra funny if I

Fair enough, I just went from comparisons I remembered seeing on BG&E HD when it came out, it seemed the same as in PC with just 16:9 support. I agree then that it’s on the side of a remaster.

So by your logic, PS2 games on PS4 are remasters as well?

By the way, Resident Evil on the GameCube is a perfect example of a remake, which is why I don’t understand your correction to Pixiekatt in those terms. A proper remaster, with updated graphics and sound, would be great. What we have as of now (and only on X360 and PS3) is a port, nothing on it has been remastered.

You’re assuming ports only happen horizontally, which isn’t the case. BG&E HD is a port, it was a company making the original code work in different hardware. They didn’t even put a coat of paint on it. A remaster respects the original game, but gives it a audiovisual overhaul, maybe not as extreme as in the case of

There seems to bespread misunderstandings about what is a port, a remaster and a remake.
Beyond Good & Evil HD is definitely a port, even a re-release if you will. Taking advantage of the hardware to up the resolution (and maybe take the chance to use higher res versions of already existing textures) doesn’t warrant a

There’s nothing wrong with the original dock. It’s easy to place and pull the Switch out (and I haven’t had any scratch issues, maybe being a bit careful goes a long way). Some think the size has to do with it all looking more like a console when in dock mode.
But when you want to bring your Switch with you to play on

What do you mean by this, exactly? SNES and N64 games (as well as many other system’s) were already playable on the original Wii, I had several of them.
And they control just fine, with the annoying exception of Super Mario 64's camera and Ocarina of Time’s ocarina, because the right analog stick isn’t a good

I see a lot of arguable but valid points here explaining the existence of this contraption, but none of them justify using wires instead of wireless.
I mean, it’s one thing to use a phone because of data transfer volumes, a kid friendly environment, processing power, etc., and let’s say that’s all ok, but then why not

PS4 consoles, like PS3, aren’t region locked. Keep in mind you’ll have to get used to having O and X reversed, though (O to accept and X to cancel)

My PS3 is a Japanese Metal Gear Rising console and even after four years of using it I still feel like I need to change it for an American version. It’s weird, I’ve no

Looks really nice, especially that kinda real time shadow, but why didn’t he keep the original controls? Alt for weapon draw? Spacebar for jumping? How do I shoot? It’s really cool this is playable on a browser, though, really cool.

It’s great they made 60fps videos on this campaign, unlike with the reveal trailer. The “fiction” shots still look to be 24fps, more film like, while the gameplay footage it faithful to what you’ll play. No people will be able to complain about framerates on this one!
