@ICptJackSparrow: That was a very fun game. Shame it didn't do better.

@Paper-Cut: And for God sakes, stop with the iPhone comparisons...

I don't see the concern. Sure, it's not a good thing to be happening, especially for Android. Phone developers seem to be pushing the limits of what they can do with Android, and Google doesn't seem to mind, which sucks.

The over-reaction in the comments on this is a little ridiculous. Perhaps you should explain what a ROM is.

@doggdiggity: Funny how no one here has seen this. If only there was a GOOD post on Android apps on Gizmodo...

@smorin1: Man, jokes tonight are just not hitting.

@Michael Scrip: I was really surprised at how thin the phone was too. Shame there's no Droid trade-in deal going, hah.

Honestly, I'm practically giving up on the reliability of the WSJ for tech things, especially phones. They've said [at least, possibly more] once that the iPhone was definitely coming to Verizon. We're on the fourth generation of iPhone, with no Verizon in sight.

@AlienSix (WeComeAlive) ver.: I work at a theater, and it's about an even mix of iPhones and Android phones, though I did spot an HD2 the other day.

@iMattv4: Simple, yes. Attractive, no. A feature is a feature, really.

There were smartphones before Apple. Apple "copied" many of the features that those phones had.

@liuping: It's not illegal to download a ROM so long as you have the original game cartridge.

"...what I really want is an official Game Boy emulator with all the games."

There's going to be a Finding Nemo sequel!?

Fucking Twilight bullshit. It really is the antichrist.

We've heard this about a hundred times now; I'll believe it when I see it.
