Who?
He really hasn’t dunked on Garner if you’re actually paying attention to what he’s saying on the interview circuit - particularly on Stern. There’s a lot of tabloid coverage out there that is mischaracterizing his words. In actuality, he’s shouldered a lot of the blame, including his alcohol abuse.
For those lacking in reading comprehension, he isn’t saying its the low point of his career with regards to his performance. He is talking about his own emotional state. It is the point where he as a person just felt out of it and not happy. Make all the snide comments you want about how “no X role was the worst” but…
I mean, I know that you have begun this conversation by intentionally misreading the meaning of Affleck’s words, so I’m shouting into the void, but I would like to put out there that it was EXCELLENT casting for the role. Sure, the writing and directing were terrible, but I think he was the exact right choice for the…
Software patents are a bad thing. How can Sonos have at least 150 different patents on streaming audio?
I respect Jeff Ross’s opinions and he obviously knows the in’s and out’s of studio life more than any of us will, but he rubbed me the wrong way when he was on Jaffe’s podcast a few months back. He referred to his younger employee’s as “entitled” for wanting fair wage. Him and the Creative Director, who was also on…
look, it’s cool if you enjoyed the game. i know tons of people who thought days gone was perfectly serviceable. i just couldn’t get into it for the reasons above. i’m not here to take your experience away from you, just to give some of my perspective as to why the game’s critical reception was what it was. i’ve tried…
I really don’t get the cult following of this title. I bought it for $20, played it for about 5 hours, and was bored out of my mind. It felt like a b-tier version of a multitude of games I’d already played. I don’t know, maybe I’ll pick it back up again eventually.
Initially it was reviewed as mediocre and unoriginal. So I never played it. Then suddenly it gained this huge following saying the “critics” were all wrong and it was one of the most underrated games of all time and should be played! So I picked it up on a sale, and guess what.
I don’t know about this, man....it’s already been debunked multiple times from at least 2 other sources that DG2 was indeed in development, but was put on the back shelf after this guy left the company. There wasn’t enough internal support in the studio to make it, so they opted to shift to a brand-new IP. It had…
There is one other difference i think he fails to think about.
How much did the average price of Days Gone sell for. I only own it cause it was free. Does that count as a sale? Before that it was on sale quite a lot.
Ghost however i want to say the lowest i’ve ever seen it was 40. which means it’s sold that 8 million…
This episode was a disappointing pile of steaming shit. I ended up fast forwarding my DVR through at least half of it to get past the annoying ancillary character interactions I couldn’t care less about. Even Yaz’s reveal felt flat, when it should have been a bigger deal. Yes there were a few decent jokes, but for the…
I'm sorry, but this episode was a big ball of 'meh'.
I liked this episode. But truth is... At this point I am unsure if I liked it because it was good or because I have stockholm syndrome to the point where anything not totally horrible out of Chibnall makes me clap.
I normally like the timey wimey concept episodes, but this one was just so poorly handled. It either failed to set up its rules, or set them up and seemingly ignored them. I don’t want to sound nitpicky, but it’s like they kept everything so vague I was constantly wondering what was actually going on. Like,
I wouldn’t go so far as to call this stellar, but it was surprisingly good. It was entertaining and funny, and it actually kept my interest throughout, which very little of Flux was able to consistently do. That said, the whole framework of the episode is a mess. Is Nick really Sarah’s only customer at the business…
Honestly thought it might be one of Chibnall’s worse if I’m honest.
This series rely is just awful at this point. Confusing nonsensical babble just to appear clever writing (and it’s not great writing if it only makes sense on repeat, it’s a cop out) and as an excuse for 50 minutes of filler in an only six episode limited series is just the worst.
