I only liked him for his eyebrows. He was smug and not so funny, but his eyebrows had a sweetness and a real ability to express things Miller himself was entirely incapable of doing.

I don't think those organizations are run by elks, but if they were it's certainly admirable how much work they do on behalf of domestic carnivores.

Or style reporter Elsa klensch.

Yoann Lemoine?

Bette Midler told this joke in the concert movie 'Divine Madness' released in 1980. And I just outed myself…again?

With all due respect Mr. Rivets, but Range-schmange. I think Cruise has some understanding of his niche as more of a 'film star' and not as a serious thespian (though he has tried that out, to be sure). I don't respect the man much, but I do respect journeymen type entertainers who do what they do as well as they can

Sleep tight, indeed.

2017 is okay so far, but I think it needs more cowbell.

Coming soon… Trump's Americathon! Give us all your gold, gold gold!

Ooh, that was fun! Like big paperboard letters at an athletic event! I can do this all day. Gimmee a Letter! Gimmee Another Letter! What's it spell? Ha! Ha! Huh? What? Who's president now? Wait, what? Oh, nuts!

Slate just did a series of articles on Stevie Wonder motivated by the idea that we should celebrate who we still have while they are here and now I am super-paranoid about losing Stevie Wonder. Thanks, Slate.

Days late with this reply, but I'm calling shenanigans on a commentarian titled Fart Machine suggesting potential humorous anecdotes that do not include fart jokes. Don't deny your legacy.

I give her props for her appearance in the PeeWee's Playhouse Christmas Special. In fact, everyone who appeared on that show gets a free pass from me. Cool enough to know that was the place to be and with it enough to go along for the ride even if (or especially because) it gave them a chance to laugh at themselves.

I'm from central New York now living in Helena and I am seriously failing on doing my part in maintaining the jabroni culture. That's a good thing, right?

Use the force, Luke!

I agree. I'm no cinephile, so I don't know the extent to which something like this was done to other foreign films, but I can see there was some effort put into this despite the low-cost (lower-talent) inclusions (I always say 'Phenenemon' now). Are there good examples of the 'repurposing' of an original work to tell

My science issue with this movie? Saw this in Montana (we were all proud the aliens chose this great state to visit) and was totally taken out of the movie by the highly improbable fog bank pouring over the ridge at the landing site. The climate here (and at the presumed landing site) is far too dry to have that sort

I laughed at first, but upon reviewing the plot of Kaijū-tō no Kessen Gojira no Musuko, I have to agree. Now I'm really curious how Lee teaches Patrick to use his atomic breath to create a straight burst and not just smoke rings.

He looks so much smaller on my screen than he does in real life!

I'll give FB an endorsement for the presence of real time support groups. I had a 13 year old Great Dane develop a condition called megaesophagus and I found an ME support group on line. There is nothing like knowing anytime night or day I could post a question (in some cases during an emergency) and have folks from
