Maaaaaaajor disagree here, Fahey. The game uses its own banlist, a wonky combination of the OCG (Asian) and TCG (Western) banlist that makes the game absolutely pointless for testing real decks. Before Legacy of the Duelist, and Millenium Duels (the 360/PS3 games that LotD are built upon) YuGiOh games featured Read more

I actually had an up-to-date complete FF trophy list until IX dropped. There’s some sort of weird sync problem between what’s going on on-screen, the sound, and the inputs. I spent an entire day trying and screaming to only get a max of 28. The next day I threw the ps1 version in and got it on my third try. Turned on Read more

Depends on your state. In Texas you can stand your ground whenever you like but smoking a dooby gives you crazy amounts of time.

Therein lies the problem. They’re not creating content to cause controversy; they create controversial content in order to challenge the status quo. 90% of pot users aren’t hardened criminals or even Snoop Dogg type-parodies of the situation. They’re calmer and more collected than your average drinker, and just enjoy Read more

This is the same guy who said that watching people on their cells is looks like everyone is masturbating. I love the man’s work, but I am now certain that there’s only a crotchety old man where a young creative genius once stood.

Herein lies the TRUE art of making an NES game, even now. Just getting my title screen to work within the limitations molded my artwork into something else, which was amazing to behold.

Hardware solution isn't included, but a cart flasher with one blank cartridge is $50, with additional blank carts selling for $20 from InfiniteNESLives. Carts can be reflashed virtually infinitely for personal use.

Actual developer who uses NESMaker here. “No programming required” is sort of a misnomer here. You definitely can make some sort of games with no programming, but scripting knowledge is required to make anything of any depth. Before I was embroiled in full-time hospice care for my uncle, I worked on a game of my own,

The street corner I live on only has 3mbps via AT&T DSL. No cable, fiber optic, or any other kind of internet is available here. This already limits me from enjoying multi-player online games. If gaming goes full-stream-ahead, I know me and everyone on my block is going full retro.

Oh yes by no means am I saying either are acceptable or that they’re not rooted in the same fallacies, I’m just saying in the matter of semantics they’re different terms for a reason. But BOTH are heinous belief systems that need to be gutted from the zeitgeist, but both are distinct enough that if you treat them both Read more

I think the distinction is just a difference of scope. “White Nationalists” want Mexicans and their descendants to live and stay in Mexico. The area they see as their “domain” is enclosed in a specific border. “White Supremacists” want all Mexicans dead, and perceive their domain as the entire planet. Both are equally Read more

I think I’d venture that this person is an avid or perhaps MMO-specific gamer, the kind that doesn’t see a game for its engine and gameplay but for its lore and world, which is extremely lucky for them (they get to love any game for what it was supposed to be and not for what it really is) but is causing a fundamental Read more

Hot-take most likely: I think the work that goes into rigging and animating a dance is drastically different than the work that goes into choreographing a dance, and further agree that Epic’s editing of said dance makes it ENTIRELY a different thing. A pixel drawing of the Mona Lisa isn’t the Mona Lisa, and doing it Read more

Definitely. In securing devices to be used in the final week of the experiment, the author completely missed the part where she can extol the good from Google and Ms devices, and made it appear as though giving up Apple is like giving up heroin. I live without Apple. If I was giving up Google, I’d use modified Read more

You always know a Tim Rogers review. It's long enough to pull up 32 ads and confusing enough that even after the half-hour it takes to read it no one can tell if they should buy it, or even knows if he enjoyed it. And the endings are generally "You know if you want this or not" which defeats the purpose of a review Read more

GOOD. For the umpteenth time, the mushroom made Toadette HUMAN, not gender-swapped. Bowser would look more like a princey Bluto than Peach.

Probably mad that ONE DBZ game is lasting this long. Remember, this is a company used to eating their share of like 3 unique DBZ games a year. Probably trying to artificially stale the game in order to get push for a new one.
