Since I forgot about the lovely commenters who might try to 1up me from a ... beside the point angle, I am aware of the Earthsea series and Paolini's inspirations. My comment above is after that. The point here is not Paolini is original or not but the magic system which I feel is more updated than the Earthsea series.

I always wondered that with a suit like this and nothing analogous to a hand with fingers/tentacles, what happens to the Dalek kind when they get an itch!
