You didn’t buy one
Thanks for the info. I am not saying I won’t put 91 in it, I was just curious. I saw some fights in the forums over it and everything was performance based not mpg based. I have a 100 mile daily round trip so, as much as I want a fun car I can drive on the weekends, it will spend 99% of it’s life on the highway…
I know there are sensors to process 87 and 91/93 in the engine so is there any noticeable difference in gas mileage when using 87 vs 91/93? I know the hardcore Honda peeps will say that the car will blow up if you dont use 93 but realistically does it matter that much? And if it does wouldn’t they make it required…
Recommended Premium, not required....
THIS is the correct answer
All 8,000 miles were at night so the owner couldn’t be identified driving this disaster. CP unless you work night shift.
You need to have at least 2 to keep one running.... most of the time.
What are my options from that time period if I want that power and luxury but need 4 doors?
I didn’t say perfect I said properly. One that runs correctly and doesn’t have any mechanical issues. I didn’t mean fully restored and perfect condition, just something you can drive without having to worry about it.
It it was a properly sorted example and didn’t need “tinkering” to get it above 60mph I would say NP. But knowing there could be bigger issues from the start is not worth $9500. Sorry
I had one on my 03 883R but now that I think about it I probably added it after the fact.
This shit about not being able to file bankruptcy to get out of student loans drives me CRAZY!!! You signed up for college and signed up for loans. Odds are you completed college and got a degree. In what world does is seem ok to not pay for what you agreed to pay??
How do you know that $2500 will keep it running for another few years? How do you know that something else comes up 6 months from now that also costs $2500? Just because you fit the current problems doesn’t mean their wont be more problems just over the horizon. Yes it could last 3 or 4 more years problem free, or it…
10/10 Would sit in the production model at the car show and then annoy my girlfriend about how bad they F’d it up while showing her concept pics on my phone.
Cool, what union do you work for??
I would love to think I could have the patients to do a project like. But deep down I know there is no way I could be that detail oriented to finish this. Maybe start with a CT70 and see how long it takes me to do that and baby step to something like this. Cool project though!
How does it compare to the CRV? It wins in the looks department IMO but how about comfort and utility.
This one does not have a CVT if you missed that in the article....
They wouldn’t care about crushing them, it’s like they paid for them. When they get out of their 24 hour hold in lock up they will just go steal another one and continue.
