I realize now that what really makes Fifth Element work is that Bruce Willis is basically playing himself. He’s responding to all of Besson’s bandes-desinées Francophone space fantasy bullshit with the same deadpan attitude and blank stare. Jovovich’s comedic skills are also underrated (she can be really funny and

I don’t know what movie you watched, but your lack of faith in Hellboy II The Golden Army disturbs me.

I will grant you that Peter’s arrival at Liz’s house is a great moment, but since you’re making your own rules, I would have extended it to the entire car ride. God, that was so fucking intense. Way more intense than any of the action set pieces that surrounded it, and I say that as someone who thought Spider-Man:

I would say it’s generous to get a refund if you buy a ticket to an event you knew you were not allowed into, and expected to not be allowed into.

It’s obviously a joke because it’s an exact recasting of comments made about women.

It’s not that men are banned, it’s just hard finding men who are good enough for the showcase. At the end of the day, men just aren’t that funny.

The letters were hand-selected by editors; that makes a big difference. Also, the process of finding an envelope, buying a stamp, and taking a trip to the post office gives you a built-in cooldown period.

I’ll wait for the Leo Carpatzi version.

When I say that, I mean that the original version in The Witcher 3 was a simple game. All I wanted was a standalone version that that, preferably for mobile so I could play it any time. This Gwent, as it is now, is almost an entirely different game.

They’ve really overthought and over-engineered a game that was essentially ready for mass/mainstream public consumption when it was just a mini-game. Sure, add embellishments and tweak things, but know when to stop.

Tell Cersei, I want her to know it was me

It sounds like Max Landis’s fever dream recollection of Lethal Weapon and the Tenth Kingdom..

I kept seeing how everyone was excited for this and I thought it might be cool until I saw the trailer and the names Max Landis and David Ayer. Then it became a hard pass for me and I’m glad to see I wasn’t wrong. Not a fan of Landis’ work or just him in general (he is annoying as hell) and while David Ayer is great

Sounds like some character arc maybe. But your right, Beserk has taught me to love fairies.

I mean, if this is the end product, I’m quite happy they didn’t.

You may have lost me at “Max Landis”.
