> Not true. Subbing ground turkey for ground beef is one of the easiest changes you can make.

You laugh but my transplant center had something on the menu they called spaghetti. It was usually linguini and sometimes fettucine but never actual spaghetti. Plus they didn’t give you nearly enough sauce.

Meat is only inefficient if you choose to make it that way. America went to a lot of effort to wipe out it’s native bovines. Then it planted corn in the same grasslands that fed those bovines. So now it feeds an unnatural diet to a different set of bovines.

Yes. All of those baloney sandwiches should have caused a Gen-X cancer apocalypse by now.

> Stop being stupid, it will lead to an early death.

...yeah, but this little crusade is also against red meat.

...and another thing. One of my fellow patients is/was a vegan. So hiding from the salami isn’t necessarily going to save you.

I already had my brush with death. It’s not going to keep me from eating red meat or sausage. Food guidelines have been politicized nonsense for decades now.

I am a thin person that “ate well” and I just got a DIFFERENT form of cancer. Meanwhile, the differences cited in the article don’t seem stark enough to matter.
