Allegedly he went to both parties, but only went to the Republicans because the Democrats wanted to wait till after the election to talk. Which, yeah sure...

But this is so dumb, and I have no idea how or why Ice Cube thought trying to negotiate with Trump would be a good idea. Did he really think Trump was going to

Nope.

America (the culture) has lied to me from an early age. America made me feel uncomfortable in my own skin. American made me feel uncomfortable speaking in public. America made me feel uncomfortable about my brown skin and my Latino culture. America made me feel less than ________. America made me a mental patient.

I did anti biotics first too. I paid for the laughing gas out of pocket because my insurance wouldn’t. Worth.every.penny.

The thing is, if that tooth is “hot” i.e. infected, there is no way to adequately numb that shit. The Novocaine just can’t get to it. I had a root canal like that once and I swear to sweet baby jeezus if I could have, I would have bitten his GD finger off.

I had my first root canal done by a lady I'm pretty sure went to Dr. Mengele's School of Dental Surgery. She had a German accent and everything. It took 12 shots to numb me, including one into the bone, and I was still six inches off the chair the whole time. If aliens or terrorists ever get me, all they gotta

Mr. West is no more or less deserving of help than is the guy talking to his demons and living in the bushes in my neighborhood. The tragedy isn’t Delonte, it’s the Delonte along with the hundreds of thousands of others like him who need mental health help and don’t get it.

I’m really disappointed that HBO is finding entirely new ways to add death and assault into a book that managed fantasy and conflict and horror without being titillating.

Eh, it feels like this show is getting graded on a curve as there’s a terrible lack of Black-centered sci-fi/fantasy, because there’s no way I’d rate this episode as an A. In fact, I’ve found myself bored with every episode since the stellar pilot. I plan to see it out to the end, and I hope they can replicate the

I really need to stop watching this show before bed. Too much to process and still get a good nights sleep. I also sorta want to bleach my eyeballs.

Whose propaganda are you ignoring? Not OTF’s apparently. I hope you don’t catch anything from the exhaled droplets of all those breathing heavily around you, because that’s where the real risk is (not touching surfaces).

“There’s no evidence to support the fact that gyms are contributing to the community spread of COVID-19 above any other types of businesses.”

Yeah, man, my fit, healthy 35 year old brother with no pre-existing conditions who climbed mountains and ran regularly before this just needed to be less “inactive”...that must be why 4 months after having COVID he’s suffering from myocarditis and has only JUST been able to complete a two mile walk with no negative

Everything I’ve read suggests the real danger of gyms is less the “touching communal surfaces” than it is the enclosed space with a bunch of people breathing harder than normal and the spray of microscopic sweat droplets.

Yeah, I really liked the first episode, but every subsequent episode has been scattershot, and it often feels like they’re rushing when they should be building suspense.

I wish this was working for me on the level of enthusiasm Joelle well expresses. But it’s just isn’t yet. I see the history and societal issues that the series is trying to address some episodes much better than others. But it’s checking boxes in my mind and feels rushed. The issues with the violence/genocide towards

Nah, she’s the leader of the Visitors in V

I’m kind of baffled by the A rating here. This episode is a complete mess, is it not?

Well, that was disappointing after a very good first episode. This episode felt extremely rushed yet somehow padded at the same time. It was just very disjointed and didn’t flow naturally from one scene to the next. The anachronistic soundtrack choices didn’t work at all either.

Yeah, this episode was a big step down for me. Even when I wasn’t struggling to tell what was going on because of the machine-gun exposition, the poor lighting and sound mixing filled in the gaps.
