The Matrix: Reburial

this write up was on point. the story telling in the first half of the film was fun and humorous and matrixy...oh man the set pieces left me disappointed. 

Aspects of this sound downright Existenz...

Smartly-dressed, bowler-hat-wearing Ralph Feinnes goes up against a maniacal Scot in a feature-length wink at the audience, rife with gleeful era-mashing, that turns out not to be very good? I’ll stick with “The Avengers”, thanks. At least that had Eddie Izzard.

I always though they were like 70 lol.

I give you a star for this, but this star comes with a terrible curse

Only Murders in the Building has taught me that Selena Gomez is quite charming and delightful & more than holds her own with Martin Short & Steve Martin, so not  totally surprised she can also do so with celebrity chefs 

it might borrow from Alex Segura, Matthew Rosenberg, and Joe Eisma’s The Archies, a 2017 series in which Archie and the gang form a band, as groups do.

They shot this the same way they do the Mandelorian: in front of LED screens with a digital background. There’s no way they were going to build of a bunch of custom mansion sets for them for this, and the actual ride itself isn’t really made to be filmed in.

Everyday I wake up, and all the problems that I was trying to avoid by going to sleep the night before are still there. In fact, some of them have gotten worse to varying degrees! Why can’t I just have standalone days, that don’t have any connection to the larger Yellowfoot Universe?

As someone who almost bawled when watching Black Panther in theaters, I get it. It’s wonderful to be able to see someone that looks like you on screen in a positive light.

As a Latino seeing trailers like this warms my heart so much knowing that my future child will grow up seeing themselves on screen. I really can’t put it into words it just brings me so much joy. I damn near cried watching the trailer just thinking about that. Keep them coming Disney and I’ll keep watching them.

This is so tragic, I remember reading her interview about a year ago when she said she wouldn’t see another Christmas. Hoped it wasn’t true, but here we are.

They might seem a bit outdated with five sexy 20-somethings but Sarah and Girls Aloud were an excellent pop band, so, so many catchy songs.

Was there a twist in The Suicide Squad? I guess for unfamiliar audiences the first team dying is a rug-pull but that’s the first 15 minutes of the movie, I didn’t think anything after that was supposed to be a twist.
