I hoped, and long predicted, that it would end with Charles arresting Doug, partially out of petty jealousy that Jake has other friends, and mostly because Doug’s a career criminal who puts Jake’s job at risk by being his friend. Seeing Charles finally appear in a Jake-&-Doug caper seemed to hint at that.

I manage to catch A Knight’s Tale on (of all SyFy) once in a while, and the only way I could see it being “science fiction” is if some temporal anomaly caused songs like “We Will Rock You”, “Takin’ Care of Business”, and “The Boys Are Back in Town” to exist 5-600 years ahead of schedule.

Looking at his costume again, yeah, he’s less Kang than Immortus. Don’t know why he didn’t just use that name, but he was otherwise charismatic and devious. And I hope that means more Miss Minutes in the future. I just KNEW she had something sinister about her! A cutesy, Disney-cartoonish, Southern-accented temptress…

Nate’s question about the CW made me giggle, because AFAIK, the CW doesn’t have sitcoms (not counting reruns local affiliates bought from other channels), then I realize I’m old enough to remember when The WB Network was new, and they had sitcoms.

I wish they’d have him do more than pine for bad chicks he can’t have, occasionally blow wind from the totem, and get high. 

They went from “Yay! We got Kate back!” to “Well, off she goes.” in record time. And after all that trouble casting Wallis Day to play her, too.
