You wouldn’t.

I’ve worked in highline auto sales for many many years, and an R8 is the last of this bunch that I would put money into. I wish I had a nickel for every one I’ve taken in on trade. Every owner’s response? “The car is boring...it has no excitement whatsoever.”

For $400k I’ll take a Ferrari F12...thanks.

So you’re taking up the same amount of space as a parking spot, yet you can’t put it between the lines. Makes sense.

Mistake #1 - riding a 250 with a super loud pipe

Here’s a bit of advice for anyone thinking of buying a new 3 series...DON’T. Buy one a year old. I’ve owned three, and every one of them tanks in resale worse than any other car I’ve ever owned. The last one was a 2015, nicely equipped ($54k msrp) that dropped in value by 40% after one year. I’m done with the brand.

For one, he has a better haircut. Dr. Evil?

Destined to be the lamest series ever.

I don’t brake check, but I’ll tap my brakes a few times and then gradually slow down until at damn near a dead stop. If you can’t get the hint to go around me by then, you shouldn’t be driving.

Meanwhile that asshat in Beverly Hills with the LaFerrari is walking clear.

Not sure what the valets are like in your city, but in Houston they’re all 20 year old shitheads named Akmed and they can’t drive for shit...no chance in getting the keys to anything I own.

Probably because there are only 4 or 5 people out there who will pay $45,000 for a “performance” version of a VW Rabbit.

Then there are those customers who buy a new car and knowingly back it into a pole or catch a nice door ding in the first few days of ownership, only to return to the dealer to b*tch and moan that “it must have there when I bought it” and expect the dealer to fix it at their expense.

Unnoticed because no one really cares. The car is going to look exactly like the rest of the line-up, and the new 600hp car will perform exactly the same as the 400hp car. The tech will still suck, it will still break down a lot, and the value will still tank as soon as you drive away in it.

Troll much?

Obama seems so annoyed.

I lost interest in F1 a few seasons ago. Ecclestone took a great sport and made it toss his salad.

Ouch.

All cash, no talent...but then again, they’re just out there to have fun.

It’s a 3.5L V6 that makes 265hp...it is de-tuned and coupled to a CVT to achieve better mpg.
