Not really interested in anything here except Rebirth but I don’t need that at launch. It may finally be time for me to take the plunge on Baldur’s Gate 3.

I did ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I gotta say, it would be deeply funny if Microsoft had to walk back its terrible merger celebration video
Second all of this. These devs instantly joined the list of “I’ll buy anything they put out.” They nail the mechanics, gear, bosses, and just fun that a game should have.
I did not play the first one and don’t feel like I missed much. You can infer some story stuff or just read wikipedia. The story is not that good in general but it’s also not detrimental to the experience. Kinda like a Diablo story, it’s there, but it’s not why you’re there.
Remnant 2 is rad and people should absolutely try it even if they didn’t play the first. I say this as someone who just paid $34.99 for it 2 weeks ago and I’m not even mad about. It rules.
As Xavier says, I think their “bug hunt” reference is about other alien creatures they’ve encountered in the past, not about these specific xenomorphs.
and she expertly ignored the other hosts throwing around words like “multiverse”
100% agree. It feels like a proper sequel that can (mostly) stand on its own. Even showing the OG guys without some kind of weird aura around their appearance feels way better. Just let them be characters in the movie, not nostalgia bait, and it seems like this is doing that.
I think they are extremely nervous about showing anything, for good reason. Andromeda got roasted (for good reason) before release, Anthem did what it did, and I think with Dreadwolf they just want to wait until they can absolutely show the best thing possible. I get that! But also, it’s extremely weird to have seen…
So what exactly did these confirm, as the headline says?
The bare bones feeling was especially crazy considering how much open world clutter there was! There was content, but it was all filler and bad.
Yeah that game sits in my memory hole with good combat, meh companions, a loser main character (the guy), and terrible environments/open world clutter. Plus bugs. But the combat was great!
I’d be okay in Andromeda as long as it’s within a better game.
This, more than other Phase 4 stuff, feels like Contractual Obligation: The Movie. I still don’t know why I’m supposed to care about it. The first trailer promised silly hijinks. This trailer is literally tying Endgame-level consequences to it?!
the moment in the 90s when the Tim Burton-directed Superman film was being filmed before it’s fairly ignominous cancellation.
Why no link to the twitch channel in this article? I gotta go find it myself, in this economy?!
Perhaps the handheld device could also be a (knock on wood) less expensive alternative to buying a Switch 2 for folks without disposable incomes.
weary of mild spoilers.
What does “marriage” mean to these people?
