I pretty much alternate between pairs of Delmans and Gap city flats. The Gap ones fall apart but they're almost always on sale. Marc Jacobs used to have excellent flats but I feel as if the quality has gone down in recent years.

Even with the most vigorous yoga, if you move mindfully with awareness of your breath, you are practicing meditation in motion! Meditation doesn't have to be this sitting stillness. I practice a lot of strenuous vigorous yoga and I would still call it meditative.
