"Angry" is not typically a womanly posture as portrayed in our popular culture. Women are not allowed to be angry, as you said, justifiably. An angry woman is not so much a woman as a "bitch", y'know? Thus AJ's continuing comment about "maternity, womanhood, SOFTNESS". Look how casually and seamlessly she associates

Adding mine to other comments saying thank you for saying this. Not to mention:

A lot of people presume you're shallow and probably dumb. You may always wonder if anyone really "loves you for who you are" rather than how you look and the attention they get with you on their arm. You may not KNOW "who you are" for a long time, or ever, on account of having it come at you from pretty much all

Starring this with gratitude for your very excellent "beast Keanu voices" typo.

It's a beautiful dress and a beautiful look. I don't think it'll have much added influence over young people already inclined to emulate her. One thing I do find interesting is that any of the people including parents being quoted (not just here, anywhere) weren't asked, or maybe I missed it, if they have no problem

Now playing

I've no idea whether there's anything to this, but based on your comment I did look up this guy. Among other things, I had a moment of "ohhhh, Bose as in the 'Bose Wave Radio'!" Before anyone snarks at me, yes I'm aware that some people also think the Wave Radio is all hype. OTOH I know ppl who have one and swear

I laughed at this (and I love your own name) but Mrs. Walton takes exception. Gently, of course. Kindly and oh so gently...

Thanks for not saying "orientated". That is all.

How much more of this type BS do we have to endure before people stop claiming WOMEN are the weaker ones who can't control their emotions? If we're to believe signs and policies like this, men - yesallmen or at least enough of them to warrant these signs over and over and over - are so damned weak-willed that they

At first I thought this was Joseline from Love and Hip Hop ATL.

Not weird to me.

Yeah, I don't know. I long ago stopped trying to fully understand some people (including WBC), except to realize it's learned behavior and in the case of WBC members, they seem to live quite an isolated/indoctrinated lifestyle.

Possible answers are elsewhere in this thread; a few possibilities put forth are that she was a supporter of the LGBTQ community, Castro, and Mumia Abu-Jamal.

Meredith Hunter's family probably could not disagree more.

Elsewhere I read speculation that it has to do with her support of Castro and Mumia Abu-Jamal.

Ahh yes — I re-read the text part of your post, and I think I missed the first time 'round that the first dress goes with the part about your own dress, and the second dress goes with the fug. (I agree about the second one.)

Ugh, there is something wrong with me - I kind of like the top red/white one. I must stop looking at these! Maybe something broke while scrolling through them all...!!!

Aren't all the royals cousins? Maybe not, like, first-cousins (at least not in modern times) but I vaguely thought they were all related, intermarried. I may be wrong, as I'm not really an anglophile or royal watcher per se.

How did Mariah Carey not get married in this?!

Here you go, this made the rounds a few years ago - "bad Russian wedding photography." Now, I don't feel bad about being entertained by these, as I'm told by a reliable source that most of the time, the couple realizes how ridiculous or bad the photos are and that's part of the fun for them.
