I’m wondering this too - the article seemed to just gloss over what’s really happening here...

What’s special about Southern green onions? I grow them in New England and they’re even perennial! Vidalia onions though I know are specific to the south, Georgia in particular. Conversely they’re my go-to onion because I prefer em sweeter and tbh I couldn’t even imagine swapping them with green onions! o_O
Tbh I always thought marinara was specifically defined by its inclusion of olive oil. I too have never heard of butter in marinara (or any red pasta sauce??)
This. Not sure why this was snuck in there.
Even if the image made perfect, non sexualuzed sense in the video, there’s this thing called context and this tweet has none of that.
Are you saying it's a good or bad thing? I guess you could tech out everything, but sometimes the simplest solution is most effective, even if elegant - if that's what you're getting at?
Good point, I wasn’t thinking so much about the metal scraping and all 👍
Yep. My backwards ass town council recently had the nerve to use this candy edible “won’t somebody think of the children” argument in support of their undemocratic* local ban of ALL cannabis businesses (even though we’re Legally allowed a whopping ONE dispensary and have FIFTEEN liquor stores) in response to the state…
Can attest to the $1000 estimate for pet teeth cleaning, though this was recently for our cat - the first time in 6 years any oral treatment has been recommended. We are trying once daily brushing - we’re talking like 30 seconds a day, if that - to possibly avoid this but generally, daily pet teeth brushing seems…
I don’t have the energy to put any more effort into this than reading that linked Newsweek article about Pratt MAYBE being a Trump supporter... By virtue of implicitly - AND explicitly - being apolitical or at least nonpartisan is just absurd and just reminds me that Twitter is just a cesspit of idiots.
This whole thing is so dumb on so many levels. I get that it’s tough to dissociate actors from certain roles and I also get that it can be a little “weird” to keep seeing the same actor over and over again, but I’m realizing now this is for another animated movie and he’s just doing the voice and I couldn’t care less.
Ayy nice! I just got two red twig dogwoods, specifically the Arctic Fire™ variant, which is a dwarf (up to 5' tall). Still with hearty leaves but I've never been excited before to see a plant in the winter so it's a weird change!
The other comments cover all the technical questionability here so I’ll just cover the ethical questionability. I don’t think there’s any way you can ethically “try to beat” an emissions test. (This obviously implies not simply doing the necessary repairs which surprisingly is not tip #1.)
Yep! This is the most basic but still incredibly flavorful mushroom broth and would be incredibly sad to be wasted! I use it with noodles/ramen as my base and it'd be great for many soup bases as well.
Stay strong our hero oreo makers ✊🌹
Depressingly fair take. Let’s call it REASONABLY ethical consumption. Humans are social creatures and require a certain level of trust in others to exist. In our capitalist society, it’s very difficult to trust most businesses to not exploit their labor (across the supply chain). The smaller businesses get though…
Completely fair take. We all have our values and we have to draw lines somewhere, otherwise we’d live in a dark and depressing existence outside of society to shield ourselves from its worst parts.
“It’s good to play together”
> most legal market edibles have 10mg per piece
I presume this is the implicit reason this isn’t the first thing mentioned.
