I haven’t watched the show since Season 2. Hearing that Barry losing his powers is a plot point *again* is cracking me up right now.

Having been on the Orlando ride twice, the things left out in this video are kinda critical to the experience. So this video, in no way/shape/form, captures the experience at all.
Because they’re *real*. I was watching Empire Strikes Back a couple nights ago with my dad and we were both marveling over the Battle of Hoth because the whole thing just felt so tangible. Even if some of the shots were janky, the whole thing holds up and doesn’t feel like a glorified cartoon.
That it gets made.
I mean, 50/50 is being generous.
Will he, though?
“I’ve been practicing social distancing since I was four years old.”
Classic Ron.
Not to mention: how many writers and artists depended on conventions as a sizable source of income?
This is the right idea.
The only thing Luke did with that saber was slice that wampa’s arm off and lose to Darth Vader.
Can we talk about the fact that it’s the same lightsaber that was used to kill countless younglings? The sequel trilogy literally fetishized a weapon used to commit mass murder.
The film’s theatrical run is, like, 99% over. So this isn’t really much of a gesture.
The problem with the “Send it Disney+” argument is contracts with back end points. I’m not sure how they would work that out by not having a theatrical release at all.
NOPE, we’re good, thanks.
Think about the difference between this moment and how you felt at the end of Avengers Endgame. The poor storytelling in this sequel trilogy is what made that moment feel flat.
I actually watched this show up until Park and Kim left. As procedurals go, it was actually really fun! The cast had terrific chemistry, the scenery was always gorgeous, and the action direction and stunt work were way more thrilling than just about any show of its ilk.
Just wanted to say: I love that you guys are doing these Film Club video reviews more often and I hope they’re here to stay. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed them around Oscar season and it’s great to see it extend throughout the film year.
Caught a ten minute preview of this at the Hollywood Studios park. I’m sure it’ll hit a lot of people in the feels, but not much of the humor in those ten minutes really worked all that well and the whole thing very much screamed “lesser Pixar”. I just couldn’t shake that feeling while watching it.
No thanks! Once was enough.
Honestly, without Babs and centering this around Harley makes this BOP-INO for me.
