The list of “millenial preferences” seems to be less about what people actually want and more just saying that “older people further in their careers have more money”.
I know if they did this “Literally Everyone”(TM) would buy it, but I’m assuming they have some more realistic sales projections for the number of people that would buy them new not five years from now on the used market.
I think it’s a little more likely you’re just looking at this through rose-coloured glasses.
I’m also curious how these are going to perform in cold weather.

You can add all sorts of safety mods, but it’s really fucking difficult to go back and built crumple zones into an old car, and they’re a big part of the equation.
I went with rokblokz (bit cheaper, didn’t want any manufacturer decals on ‘em anyway).
One of the complaints was “Seat too low - have trouble seeing over dash.” Doesn’t even take a drive to figure out that’s an issue.

Yes. If it’s under tension, it’s gonna be a bad fucking time if it snaps. Or worse, comes unhooked and has a ten pound metal hook go shooting through the air at a hundred miles an hour.
Your first paragraph is ridiculous. No one might as well carry a gun then because if you’re in a store and there’s other people there you might hurt their feelings when you shoot the bad guy. It’s the same thing as being in a car and being a witness.
