if the comb option hurts your skin too much, using a hairbrush works really well to break up the bruising in hickeys too. Just brush the area, and make sure to apply enough pressure

What works for me, when I can bother to do it, is to wash my face with Cerave and my Clarisonic 2x a day, morning and night.
